We went there from Manali and its just an hour’s drive via Attal Tunnel. Before the tunnel was created people had to go via Rohtang pass. During Winter Rohtang pass will be closed so Sissu was almost inaccessible for tourists till summer. But thanks to the Tunnel we can vist this beautiful place even during peak winter.
Sissu – Nature’s Retreat
There is very limited stay option in Sissu and its a small village and only recently open for tourists. PLM Dhara is one of the best hotels with proper power backups. Power outages are very frequent and not all hotels have proper power backup. We stayed in Sissu for 5 days and there was no power for 2 days. We Stayed in Zostel Sissu for 2 days and 3 days in Hobknob. Zostel and Hobknob are good hotels for lesser prices. There wont be any room services in these hotels.
