We started off from Bangalore at 7:30 in morning from Jayanagar and reached Sirimane homestay in Mudigere, Chikmagalur around 1:30 PM.
We went to Devramane Betta in evening but it was disappointing as the hill was completely engulfed in cloud and we were not able to see anything beyond few meters. We missed the great view of the valley from the top of Devramane Betta. We were praying that the next day Ettina Bhuja Trek to not have the same fate.
Ettina Bhuja Trail
Our advеnturе bеgins at thе Shri Nanya Bhairaveshwara Swami Gudi. We went there in car from Sirimane Homestay in Mudigere and reached around 7:30 AM. Forest officer will allow trek only after 7 AM. There is one Battru Canteen if you have to start the trek with some coffee. Don’t forget to carry water bottels as one will definately get thirsty after reach the top.
From the temple we have to walk to Ettina Bhuja for 2 KM.
